MARCH READERS CIRCLE: DEAR EDWARD

Based on a true event, it tells the story of a 12 year old boy, who is the only survivor of a plane crash that kills all of the 191 passengers, including his family. The story moves back and forth between the day of the fatal crash and Edward’s life afterwards. As one reviewer said, “it is a beautiful story of loss and being lost and then finding your way again.”

The author says, “I know that Dear Edward sounds very sad, and it is, but it also isn’t, I promise.“
