Our activities

We encourage you to join us for one of our upcoming activities, the majority of which are virtual at this time. We continue to fulfill our mission in giving back to the community most recently through our Coat Drive and Adopt-a-Family program both with Family Focus of Evanston. We also offer many social activities for our club members such as the monthly Reader's Circle, lunchtime speaker series, and other special events. Please visit our calendar for the latest program offerings.

June Book Selection

This is the highly anticipated 16th book in the Armand Gamache detective series in which his family and friends are people of interest in this case. While in Paris awaiting the birth of his grandchild, the story kicks into high gear after a family dinner when his rich, industrialist god-father is mowed down by a passing van. It is made clear to Armand that this is no accident.  Armand’s rush to discover the multiple layers of truth is heightened knowing his entire family is in extreme danger.

Please join us to discuss this summer page turner. And FYI, you can read this book without reading the 15 others!!!

Her research in general explores the relationship between histories of gender-based violence and transnational Asian/Asian American performance-based art and activism.
