Remember the Lucky Pot that survived the fire in the clubhouse? Each month at the luncheon we would pass the Lucky Pot around and collect money for a different organization. We’re bringing it back—virtually! For the month of December, all of the proceeds we collect will be donated to the Holiday Wishes/Adopt a Family program with Family Focus of Evanston. The Woman’s Club of Wilmette will be “adopting” families in need that are facing difficult times this season and provide them with gift cards of their choice for the holidays. The cards will be used for children’s toys, groceries, or whatever their specific needs may be, in lieu of actual gifts due to the pandemic.
