Summer social - women in business networking group

Monday, August 19th - 5:00-7:00pm
Valley Lodge - 1141 Central St. in Wilmette

The WCW Women in Business Networking Group is hosting a Summer Social on Monday, August 19th from 5:00-7:00pm. Come celebrate summer and the kick-off for the next session of networking group meetings that will start in September. Come see old friends and meet new ones!

MAH JONGG Mondays - open play
Monday Nights - Check the calendar

The club will be open for WCW members and friends/guests of members for Mah Jongg nights. Come and meet new people while having fun! All ages welcome.

$10 for friends, guests, community non-members
Included in membership for WCW members

Pay in advance through the registration on each calendared date or at the door through Zelle at paymentswcw@gmail.com (be sure to note "Mahjongg" as the subject).

FEEL GOOD FITNESS

Saturday, April 27th at 10am

Come join us at the Clubhouse for some "feel good fitness" fun as we celebrate wellness - both for ourselves and for others. The event will partner with Service and Learning Together (SaLT) on donations for migrants in the Chicagoland area. Please bring "wellness" items that we will package to donate to SaLT.

READER'S CIRCLE

Thursday, April 18th at 7pm

In the spring of 2020, Lara’s three daughters return to the family's orchard in Northern Michigan. While picking cherries, they beg their mother to tell them the story of Peter Duke, a famous actor with whom she shared both a stage and a romance years before at a theater company called Tom Lake. As Lara recalls the past, her daughters examine their own lives and relationship with their mother, and are forced to reconsider the world and everything they thought they knew.

Tom Lake is a meditation on youthful love, married love, and the lives parents have led before their children were born. Both hopeful and elegiac, it explores what it means to be happy even when the world is falling apart. As in all of her novels, Ann Patchett combines compelling narrative artistry with piercing insights into family dynamics. The result is a rich and luminous story, told with profound intelligence and emotional subtlety, that demonstrates once again why she is one of the most revered and acclaimed literary talents working today.

GENERAL MEMBERSHIP MEETING

Please join us for the semi-annual general membership meeting to learn about the WCW's plan for the coming year and how you can join us in this important work! Registration is not required, but nice so we can accommodate refreshments appropriately.

LOCAL WOMEN IN GOVERNMENT COFFEE

THURSDAY, MARCH 14TH 9AM-10AM

Please join us at The Woman's Club of Wilmette as we celebrate National Women’s History Month! Come and connect with your local, female, community leaders and learn about the current projects our Community Board’s are working on!.

The morning will include coffee and a panel discussion with time for Q & A, moderated by Ali Wenzke.

LADIES & LAUGHS COMEDY NIGHT!

Only a few tickets left! Join us for our comedy night this March! Cost is $35 per person and will
include lite bites,non alcoholic beverages and a comedy show featuring 3 comedians.

Space is limited so get your tickets now!

Doors open at 7PM, comedy show at 8PM.

Wine will be available for purchase at the event, cash, check & Zelle will be accepted.

OPEN CLUBHOUSE

Thursday, February 8th

9 - Noon

We are so excited to bring back our Open Clubhouse as a perk of membership! This is a great way to use the beautiful facilities at the WCW. The clubhouse will be open on the 2nd Thursday of every month from 9:00 - Noon. Members are invited to come and use the Phoenix room as a co-working space. Reservations are recommended, but not required. We hope to see you there!
