About this event
The WCW is excited to bring in Sue Pelzek, Founder of the Real Food Fix Program and owner of Pop-Up Salads in Wilmette for an engaging workshop.
This program is designed to help college-age students / young adults build lifelong skills around food, health, and independence — while also reducing reliance on takeout and processed meals.
In this hands-on cooking demonstration workshop, participants will learn how to:
Plan a full week of meals in under 10 minutes
Shop efficiently for versatile, real-food ingredients
Assemble simple, balanced meals without relying on recipes and so much more!
Note: This is not a traditional cooking class focused on recipes but an introduction to a repeatable system for planning, shopping, and preparing meals using flexible ingredients and basic cooking methods - all designed to bring back to their kitchens.
