Be a part of an all volunteer organization that is celebrating its 125th year of service to Wilmette and the surrounding communities. By working together, members of the Woman’s Club of Wilmette have raised and donated almost $400,000 in cash, goods, services and space to community organizations in the past 10 years alone.
Our club is open to all women over the age of 18 who are interested in effecting change on the North Shore. Please consider membership if you want to make a difference while meeting new women and having fun!
How to Join
Before applying for membership, get to know us by attending one of our meetings that includes a luncheon, short business meeting and a program. These luncheons generally take place on the first and third Wednesdays from October through May. In June and July, we meet just once a month for a potluck luncheon.
Guests are always welcome. You may attend with a member you already know, or feel free to call Membership Chair Edie Rowell at 847-251-0527. She’ll make your luncheon reservation and be your hostess. And then, complete the Membership Application.

Serve on one committee annually. These committees are varied and strive to accommodate needs of members who work full or part time, and/or are full time stay-at-home mothers.
Pay membership dues of $90 annually due May 1. The dues help cover the cost of the WCW’s newsletter, Membership Directory, discount for private space rentals and volunteer activities. Events and programs in which you choose to participate may have charges though some will be free to members.
Attend social functions, such as the luncheons, bridge or book club, that are the fun part due to the good times we share and friendships we make. Luncheon costs vary and are listed in the Jargon, WCW’s newsletter.
We look forward to welcoming you as a new member of The Woman’s Club of Wilmette!
